Robert J. Curtiss, CFP®, CWS®, AIF® is a Financial Advisor in the Pasadena office of Signature Estate & Investment Advisors (SEIA). His focus areas include fiduciary investment management for individuals and retirement plans, retirement planning, and strategies involving handling concentrated, highly appreciated stock positions. Robert has been in the investment management and insurance business for over 20 years.
Robert is involved with numerous charities and philanthropic groups throughout southern California. He is a member of the UCLA Extension Personal Financial Planning Program Advisory Board. He is a 26-year resident of Pasadena, California along with his wife, son, and daughter.
Robert received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Intergovernmental Management from the University of Southern California.
He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2001, after completing the professional education program through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. In 2015, Robert earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF® ) professional designation from Fiduciary360, receiving formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility. He is also a licensed insurance agent (CA Ins. License #0B95743).
